Position Overview
- Full-time, 4 day work week
- Above award wage - $30-50/hr.
- Relocation Allowance
- Phone & Vehicle provided
- Dalby based servicing the Westerns Downs Region - relocation assistance can be provided.
A successful candidate possesses:
- Team Mindset - if your not into positive praise for yourself and praising others then this isn't the place for you.
- Completed plumbing apprenticeship.
- Completed Gas fitting certificate (Ideal, not mandatory).
- Forklift & heavy machinery licence (Ideal, not mandatory).
- Current QBCC occupational licence.
- Construction Induction Card (White Card).
- Current manual driver's licence.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaison between clients, office staff, supervising tradesman & sub contactors.
- Proven time-management and problem-solving ability, often whilst multitasking between jobs.
- An upbeat workplace attitude & the ability to establish respectful & positive relationships with clients, staff & contactors.
- Reliability and punctuality with a strong work ethic.
- The ability to use a computer & smartphone/tablet to complete online documents such as on site Job cards, Safety Work Method Statements etc.
- Experience in domestic and/or commercial maintenance sectors(Ideal, not mandatory).
Tasks you will face in this position
- Manage jobs from delivery, installation, on-site administration & client liaison.
- Liaise with our Service Coordinator to ensure timely & efficient delivery of services to our clients.
- Create quotes & estimates on upcoming jobs. (Estimator Position also available if you're looking to move in that direction)
- Supervise & instruct apprentices.
- Work in conjunction with the other services & trades we provide.
- A stable influx of daily & extended work.
- Working at heights & in confined spaces.
- Use of heavy machinery (if licenced) & trailers of various sizes.
